The 2024 NRLW season is upon us and we have found all the value in futures markets including the $7 premiership winner.
Premiership
Gold Coast are being wildly underrated this year. They have the best starting prop duo in Queensland pairing Jess Elliston, a star fullback in Evania Pelite, arguably the top outside back in the comp in Jaime Chapman, the ever-clutch Lauren Brown and two other star forwards in Georgia Hale and Shaylee Bent. They lost the decider last year but pushed the Knights the distance. Only lost to Newcastle and the Roosters last year.
Minor Premiership
When it comes to pure talent, the Roosters blow most of the premiership apart. They are 12-2 in the regular season the last two years, going undefeated to the minor premiership in 2022 before finishing second last year. The Roosters have a fearsome pack and a backline that can score at will. They are a reliable proposition to win the minor premiership.
Top 4
The Titans are being tipped up for the premiership but the best bet is on them making the Top 4. There is a huge gap between the top five and bottom five this year and the Titans aren’t the fourth best team. They are huge value at $1.75.
Least Wins
The Eels were abhorrent last year, winning just one game and conceding 36-plus in six of nine. Dean Widders was rightly sacked and Steve Georgallis will add more professionalism to the team but Parramatta just do not have the roster to win many games.
