To truly understand where the Warriors are at right now, we need to go back a month. The Warriors were at home and leading against a Dolphins team that had lost Herbie Farnworth before blowing the match in the final minute.

Since then the Dolphins have conceded 160 points in three games with losses of 52, 10 and 28. They have been an unmitigated disaster. Yet the Warriors butchered a lead against this same team. The fact is this Warriors team is going no good – even after rolling the Titans last week. Tanah Boyd is a poor halfback, the right edge defence is a debacle ad James Fisher-Harris has never played worse footy.

The Eels have been mixing form but are a much better proposition with Mitchell Moses in the team. Since his return, Parramatta are 3-2 with both losses coming by six or fewer.

The Eels have won five of the last six against the Warriors and this is a bad spot for a New Zealand team not going well. They have covered just seven of 22 as a favourite and seven of 21 off scoring 30-plus.
