NRL Tips – Titans v Warriors – Round 2 2022

NRL Betting Tips

Gold Coast are a team on the up and can put some hurt on a ramshackle Warriors outfit.

Best Bet

Gold Coast -8.5 ($1.90)

Laying a big minus to be with the Titans hardly fills one with a great deal of confidence but then one looks at what is happening with the Warriors and the minus is the only way to bet this game.

Nathan Brown has not taken long to gut the Warriors but he has done so. Reece Walsh and Matt Lodge are back but Shaun Johnson is out hurt and now former Titan Ashley Taylor will wear the No.7 jersey. The Warriors are in all sorts and have no idea where to turn.

The numbers behind the Warriors are disastrous too. They have covered just 2 of 13 as an underdog, 2 of 9 off conceding 28-plus and 2 of 12 day games.

Gold Coast have covered three straight when favoured by more than a converted try. It should be four come Saturday evening.

Same Game Multi

Gold Coast 13+/Phillip Sami Try/David Fifita Try ($5.00)

In four of their last five when favoured, the Titans have won by 22 or more points. Gold Coast can thump inferior opposition.

Phillip Sami scored a double in the opener and was very good on the left side, one in which the Titans favoured heavily in Round 1.

David Fifita scored 17 tries in 22 games last year including scoring a double against the Warriors. Having a slow opener should see him fiery this week.

Value Bet

Beau Fermor Try ($4.00)

Fermor has scored six tries in 17 starts and his hard-running will cause the Warriors edges all kinds of grief. He played 80 minutes Round 1 and plays in a position that regularly scores tries against New Zealand.
