The Titans have been building slowly but with what looks a fairly solid foundation under rookie coach Josh Hannay. While they sit 16th on the ladder, their defence has been much better, conceding 23 or fewer in four of their last six.

That sets up well for the Titans as a home underdog. Gold Coast have covered four of their last five at CBus when an outsider.

Manly are in a big lay spot too. Interstate favourites off a loss cover at just 38% while Manly have covered just two of six as a favourite.

The Titans have covered five of six against the Sea Eagles and look primed to add to that record.
