Line

The Titans host the Knights in what is shaping as a very important game for the club, one that will set the tenor for how the club goes in the near future.

Starts have been incredibly poor for the Titans. They were dreadful against the Bulldogs in their season opener. They went 0-3 ATS in 2024 in Des Hasler’s first year at the helm, losing all three games by at least 16.

There are concerns at Newcastle with the loss of three key forwards. Leo Thompson is out hurt, Kai Pearce-Paul is suspended and Dylan Lucas looks likely to miss.

The numbers all point to the Knights though.

They have won and covered five of the last six against the Titans, scoring 26 or more in the last five clashes. Newcastle are 22-10 ATS when under $2 while they have covered 13 of 19 when interstate.

If the Knights can overcome their forward outs, they look a value play in this.

Fletcher Sharpe Try/Bradman Best Try
Same Game Multi

Fletcher Sharpe is an elite tryscorer with 12 tries in 14 NRL appearances and looks an obscene price to score this week.

Bradman Best is a beast and gets to run at Brian Kelly all night so looks a big price.

Value Bet

Tom Cant
To Score A Try

Tom Cant has played just four NRL games and has yet to cross but he looks likely to take up the Dylan Lucas role with Lucas likely to be ruled out as of writing. Cant scored nine tries in 15 games in the NSW Cup last year and scored in his only appearance this year.
