Both the Titans and Bulldogs will view this as a must-win game when the teams meet on Friday night. Gold Coast have certainly shown notable improvement under new coach Josh Hannay, downing Penrith last week. Canterbury’s attack remains horrific but the defence is back to what took the club to the finals last season.

Neither team is consistent enough to bet with confidence but the one angle that is at maximum confidence is that points will be at a premium, making the under an elite play.

Both teams rank Top 10 in defence while they are in the bottom four in scoring.
