The Tigers and Knights are both surprisingly in the Top 4 and both see this as an early opportunity to see this as a chance to lay legitimacy to their finals claims.

Round 6 wraps up with a fascinating clash between two of the surprise packets of 2026, the Wests Tigers and Newcastle Knights.
Both teams who missed the Top 8 last year have dropped just a game each. The Tigers come off a reaffirming win over the Eels when digging deep to run Parramatta down. Newcastle have blown all away except the Warriors when Fletcher Sharpe was a late out.
It is surprising to see Newcastle such a big outsider here.
The Knights have won seven of their last eight against the Tigers including winning the last two at Campbelltown.
Newcastle are 28-13 ATS in day games including a 15-8 cover record in road day games while they are 22-14 ATS off a win.
The Tigers have covered just three of 12 when favoured.
Newcastle are an excellent bet.
Same Game Multi
Dominic Young has eight tries this year and now has 81 tries in 97 games, a fantastic return.
Fletcher Sharpe has elite speed and wonderful instincts and it has resulted in 23 tries in 28 games.
Faaletino Tavana has looked very good in two games with a try in each of them.
Value Bet
Phoenix Crossland is anything but a reliable tryscorer with just 11 tries in 112 games. He has one this year and has only scored multiple tries in a season once but he is playing a much tougher role this season and backing up in particular makes him a nice bet this week.
