The Tigers have been engulfed in drama for the last week and they are not typically strong at bouncing back but this is a great chance for them to actually stand up for the club at big odds.

Teams off conceding 56 or more cover at 59% the following week while that jumps to 70% when playing a team outside the Top 8. The Tigers have also covered seven of 11 at CommBank and six of eight against the Eels. This is a good spot for the Tigers.

It is also a dire spot for the Eels. When two teams 10th or worse meet, teams favoured by at least a try cover at 22%. The Eels cover at just 37% off conceding 30 or fewer – they don’t back up strong defensive showings – while they are 12-16 ATS when favoured.

Fainu has been exceptional on the left edge both defensively and with ball in hand. He is an excellent line runner and it has resulted in four tries in 11 games this year. He is huge odds to score against the Eels, who struggle with their defensive right edge when Mitchell Moses plays.
