A traumatic week for the Bulldogs is not going to get any better against the Wests Tigers.
Best Bet
It has been quite the week for Canterbury. Coach Trent Barrett “quit” after an embarrassing loss to Newcastle. Training was cancelled on Monday as Phil Gould went into damage control. Brent Naden was released to, of all clubs, the Tigers. A team was named on Tuesday without a coach. Former Tigers boss Mick Potter was named interim coach on Wednesday. A flu is sweeping through the club that is likely to force Matt Burton, Josh Addo-Carr and Luke Thompson out.
It is hard to see the Bulldogs bouncing back from that against a Tigers team that has been playing hard at their spiritual home.
The Tigers have won three of the last four against the Bulldogs. This is also a strong spot for them with the Tigers covering at 59% off a loss of 13-plus. They are 17-11 against the spread off conceding 30-plus.
Betting the Tigers as a favourite is not particularly appetizing proposition but this Canterbury team is rancid and the Tigers are trying.

Same Game Multi
Wests Tigers Win/Ken Maumalo 2+ Tries ($6.25)
The Tigers look to be good things this week.
Ken Maumalo has 21 tries in 29 games and has a history of multiple try games, scoring at least a double on 11 occasions. He scored a double last year against the Bulldogs.
Value Bet
Luke Garner has adjusted nicely to his role at right centre. He has scored the last two weeks and gets an excellent matchup again against Aaron Schoupp, who struggles defensively. Garner is huge overs.
