Cronulla have been off the map in this one and it is easy to understand why given their current form and Souths are without their biggest stars.

The Sharks have been airborne with eight wins in their last nine games. Two of their last three wins have been by 36-plus. They have conceded 18 or fewer in six of their last seven.

Souths have faded somewhat with Latrell Mitchell, Cameron Murray and David Fifita all missing, conceding 24-plus in their last four.

The key note against Souths is their home/road split. They keep winning and covering at Accor but away from the ground they have covered just two of 11. They are also 1-4 against the spread getting a start of eight points.

Cronulla are 23-14 ATS at Shark Park while they are 21-13 ATS in day games.

The Sharks could win this by a cricket score.
