It is hard not to be all over Cronulla this week, even if they are laying a huge start.

The Knights have been nothing shy of horrific this season and could well claim the wooden spoon. They sacked coach Adam O’Brien this week on the back of seven straight losses. They have conceded 38-plus in their last four. Newcastle have been held scoreless at halftime in 11 of 22 games. This team is bad – very bad.

Cronulla have dominated this matchup with six covers in the last seven meetings. They have won five straight clashes with Newcastle at Shark Park.

The Sharks are 24-17 ATS at Shark Park with a 9-4 cover record at Shark Park n the afternoon. Cronulla have also built a 33-19 over record against teams outside the Top 8.
