There is plenty of hype around Friday night with a packed Brookvale expected to farewell iconic Manly star Daly Cherry-Evans. It has not been a particularly smooth exit for Cherry-Evans though so those expecting a bump from the Sea Eagles might be left wanting.
This is a very vanilla Manly side to boot with the loss of Tolutau Koula particularly impactful. If this had a Herbie/Dolphins effect then it would not surprise.
Motivation won’t be an issue for the Warriors. They will be playing hard for either a shot at the Top 4 or an opportunity to find the opposite side of the draw to Penrith.
This is a super spot for the Warriors too. They have covered 14 of 18 as an underdog with an 11-4 cover record getting a start of at least four points. The Warriors are 8-4 ATS off conceding at least 26.
With Manly covering just three of their last 11 as a favourite, New Zealand getting the start is an excellent bet.
Same Game Multi
Tom Trbojevic just loves playing the Warriors with 11 tries in 11 games.
Adam Pompey is airborne with four tries in his last three games.
Chanel Harris-Tavita is enjoying his best tryscoring season to date with eight tries in 22 matches.
Value Bet
Leka Halasima is one of the hottest young talents in the NRL and he knows his way to the tryline with 12 tries in 23 games this year. Nine of those have come in the last 11 games. He is slated to start from the bench but that should pose no problem with a double from the interchange last start and six of his tries coming from the pine.
