The Melbourne Storm have long held the wood over the Sydney Roosters with 13 wins in the last 15 games but that is set to change on Friday night with the undermanned Melbourne now playing without representative halves pairing Jahrome Hughes and Cameron Munster.

While the Roosters have not been at their flashy best, their defence has been elite, conceding 18 or fewer in seven of eight to take them to third on the premiership ladder.

The Roosters have been near unstoppable at Allianz, covering eight of their last nine at the ground. They have covered seven of nine at the ground when favoured by 12 or more.

The biggest problem though for the Storm is their poor showing against the market playing at night. They are 5-16 against the spread in their last 21 night games. The Storm are also 2-8 ATS interstate and 1-6 ATS against Top 4 teams.
