Canberra were tipped by most to be a bottom four team this year but at the halfway mark of the season, they have established themselves as a legitimate Top 4 team. They were super impressive winning in New Zealand last week and they can back it up with a win I Sydney over the Roosters.
The Raiders have played the Chooks well with three wins in the last four meetings. Tellingly, the Raiders have won four straight against the Roosters in Sydney.
This is a nice spot for Canberra, who have covered eight of 11 off a win. They are 12-4 ATS interstate and 7-1 ATS at night.
The Roosters tend to struggle against quality teams with a 9-15 cover record against Top 4 teams. They have also covered just one of five as an outsider at Allianz Stadium.
Canberra are a very good bet this week.

Xavier Savage has eight tries in 11 games and his pace always makes him a major threat to score.
Hudson Young has been an outstanding tryscorer this year with nine tries in 11 appearances.
Value Bet
Owen Pattie has had a strong rookie season as Tom Starling’s backup but gets his first start in the No.9 jersey this week with Starling suspended. He scored three tries in 12 NSW Cup starts and was good in the preseason where he scored a double in his only appearance.
