There is not a lot of respect being afforded the Sydney Roosters at home against Penrith.

It has to be said that betting in this game is utterly insane. There is no question that the Panthers are the benchmark for the 2022 premiership but the Roosters are arguably the third best team in the competition and play at home. This line opened double digits and is into the Roosters getting 9.5. That remains a play.
The Panthers have won four straight but three of those contests have been one-score contests with the Roosters winning the only meeting at the SCG.
The Roosters are a very good betting proposition at the SCG, covering 17 of their last 27. Penrith, by contrast, have covered just 8 of 21 as a favourite away from Penrith Stadium.
