The Sydney Roosters are missing three players to Origin duty led by Blues skipper James Tedesco but it is unquestionably the Raiders who will be feeling the heat more with the club’s two best players Jack Wighton and Josh Papalii missing from club duty this week.
It is hard to see the Raiders being able to overcome those absences while the Roosters look to have a remarkably strong side.
The Roosters have had the best of this matchup with wins in six of the last eight and covers in 14 of 23.
Canberra are a massive lay in this spot too. They are an awful 12-21 against the spread at home and have covered just one of their last nine at home, including failing to cover last week as a home underdog against the Eels.
