Canberra look to be marching to the minor premiership but since their first bye they have really struggled to put teams to the sword. They had consecutive four-point wins over the Tigers, Knights and Dragons and they trailed the Eels for much of the game last week before breaking free late.

These teams met just four weeks back and the Raiders fell in 22-18.

It continued a good recent run for the Knights against the Raiders. Newcastle have covered 13 of the last 17 meetings while they have won the last two at Canberra Stadium.

There is a concern with the Raiders covering big numbers. They have covered just three of nine getting double digits.

Newcastle have covered seven of their last 11 getting 12 or more points while they are 26-19 ATS off conceding 20 or fewer.
