Both Souths and Melbourne have plenty to worry about with personnel. The Storm added Will Warbrick to the list of outs last week when he did his Achilles while Souths have lost Tallis Duncan, Cameron Murray and David Fifita. Jahrome Hughes is back for Melbourne.

It is still surprising to see the Storm favoured in this one with their numbers dire.

Melbourne have covered just four of 15 against Top 8 opposition. They have covered just three of 11 interstate. They are a horrific 6-16 ATS at night.

Souths love playing at Accor with eight straight covers. They have also covered seven of nine against Melbourne.

It is not getting much better for them with new recruit Oryn Keeley starting on an edge again. That sets up well for Cody Walker to score a try.
