NRL Tips – Rabbitohs v Bulldogs – Round 6 2022

NRL Betting Tips

Points will be hard to come by when rivals South Sydney and Canterbury do battle on Good Friday.

Best Bet

Under 39.5 ($1.90)

The traditional Good Friday clash between the Rabbitohs and the Bulldogs is usually a hard fought one and this will be no different with the Bulldogs fancying their chances against a Souths team without Latrell Mitchell.

Canterbury’s attack has been utterly insipid under Trent Barrett (16th 2021, 16th 2022) and that won’t change this week. Their defence though has been sound enough outside of some second half blowouts against the top two teams and is good enough to contain a Souths side missing Mitchell.

The under has hit in seven of eight Rabbitohs-Bulldogs games while this is a big under spot for both teams. The under is 7-1 when Souths play at Accor off a win and 11-4 when they are favoured by more than a converted try at the ground. The under is 10-2 when the Bulldogs play day games at the old ANZ while the under is 30-14 when they are off scoring 12 or more points.

Same Game Multi

Time of 1st Try 8 min or Later/Campbell Graham Try ($5.25)

The Bulldogs have been relatively improved defensively and have not conceded within seven minutes this year and just once within 10 while they have scored just one in the first 10 minutes.

Campbell Graham has scored three tries in five games this year and matches up with the defensively questionable Jake Averillo.

Value Bet

Canterbury ($3.75)

There are no historical stats to push for Canterbury here but South Sydney look significant unders in a game that will be bereft of points. Souths have lost Latrell Mitchell and their attack looks to have almost no impotency without him. The Bulldogs have covered nine of 15 as a double digit underdog so should be in this game to the death.
