NRL Tips – Panthers v Warriors – Round 24 2022

NRL Betting Tips

Penrith host New Zealand in the opener on Friday night and the line at writing ties the biggest of the season – equalling the last time the Panthers played the Warriors.

Best Bet

Penrith -29.5
Line

Betting on this game shifted pretty quickly when word filtered out that Jarome Luai and James Fisher-Harris would return for the Panthers. This saw the Panthers shift from -20.5 point favourites to -29.5. The way the minuses have covered of late this will likely shift to -30 and beyond.

In reality, the Panthers win this by whatever margin they want. They are fielding a strong side with plenty of firepower and the Warriors have nothing to play for and little incentive to find on the road.

The Panthers have a very good record against the Warriors with 15 wins in the last 19 meetings. They have covered 13 of 18.

Penrith have an outstanding record at home to boot. They have covered 23 of 36 at home including 20 of 29 at night and 19 of 28 at home off a win.

The Warriors have covered just 5 of 19 at night and 9 of 24 as a double digit underdog. Their last two road games have been losses of 38 and 44.

Not a lot of confidence but Penrith will win easily – and hopefully by more than the big number.
