The match of the round sees the Panthers host the Sharks in a cracking affair at Penrith Stadium.
Best Bet
Penrith go in heavily favoured at home this week and it is easy to understand why considering their recent record at home. They have covered 23 of 34 at home including 11 of 15 at home when they are favoured by more than double digits. They are 20-7 against the spread at home when playing at night and 18-5 when they are at home off conceding 16 or fewer.
It is hard to know how maligned Panthers Jarome Luai, Nathan Cleary and Stephen Crichton will react and there is some risk laying 12.5 points against a team entrenched in the Top 8. The Sharks have covered 9 of their last 11 as an underdog to boot.
There is a nice angle to play in this one though and that is on the over. These two have gone over the total in 17 of 25 since 2008 including the last six. Five of those six have topped 44.
The Sharks are in a big over spot too. The over hits at 60% when the Sharks are off a win and 66% when they play at night. When they are a road underdog of more than 10 points the over has hit in eight straight.
The total here looks a touch on the low side.
Same Game Multi

Value Bet
Liam Martin is in the throes of his best tryscoring season with five tries in 14 appearances for the Panthers. In three starts against the Sharks, Martin has scored twice. In the 10 matches the Panthers have scored 26-plus, Martin has scored five times.
