Canberra have done a tremendous job to put themselves in the box seat for the minor premiership but they are still being shown far too much respect against an in-form and now desperate Penrith.
The Panthers losing last week to Melbourne was the worst thing that could have happened to the Raiders. Penrith are now on the outside of the Top 4 looking in while there is no better rebound team in the competition.
Penrith are an incredible 18-4 ATS off a loss while they are 18-10 ATS off conceding 20 or more.
The Panthers are also 21-9 ATS against Top 4 teams while they are 45-31 ATS at night.
Throw in a 9-3 win and cover record against Canberra and Penrith look a great bet as small favourites.
Same Game Multi
Tom Jenkins has 12 tries in his last 13 games and is one of the most reliable tryscorers in the premiership.
Casey McLean is an elite mover with the ball and is not fond of passing and with six tries in his last five games, he is a great value play in this one.
Value Bet
Penrith star Nathan Cleary tends not to run a lot early in the season but really cranks up towards the end of the season. He has three tries in his last six games. It mirrors last season when he scored all four of his tries after Round 21. In 2023, Cleary, he finished the season with five straight tries. Clearly is a great bet to score.
