NRL Tips – New Zealand v Gold Coast – Round 8 2024

Warrriors vs Titans - NRL Tips

The Anzac Day triple-header opens up across the ditch with New Zealand heavily favoured to defeat the Gold Coast but all may not be as straightforward as it seems.

Best Bet

Gold Coast +12.5
Line

Outside of South Sydney, there may be no more overrated team in terms of betting than the Warriors.

While New Zealand look great on paper and put it together at times, a predictable sideways attack has put them in games far closer than they should be in. The result is that the Warriors are 2-5 against the spread this year.

They host a winless Titans team but one that has looked much better the last two weeks, losing in golden point to the Raiders and going down by four to the Sea Eagles, covering both.

The Titans are an amazing bet getting 12.5 points and can win the game off the stick.

Gold Coast have a 10-5 cover record as a double digit underdog and underdogs off conceding 28 or more in Rounds 5-8 cover at 62% but this is more about the Warriors.

New Zealand have covered just one of eight at Mt Smart. They have covered just 6 of 17 when favoured by more than four and none of five when favoured by double digits.

Very keen the Titans plus here.
