All is not well in Newcastle with rumours circling that coach Adam O’Brien is about to be sacked, star Kalyn Ponga is about to sign with union and big-money recruit Dylan Brown doesn’t want to be there. Throw in injuries to Dylan Lucas and Fletcher Sharpe and these are dark days for the Knights.

This is a nice spot for them though, providing some light at the end of the tunnel.

The Knights have won the last four home games against the Warriors and have covered five of the last seven clashes overall.

Newcastle are 10-4 ATS as a home underdogs with a 6-2 cover record getting more than a converted try at home. They are 30-17 ATS in day games with a 13-9 cover record in home day games.

The Warriors are 5-13 ATS when favoured by at last six while they have not covered their last four interstate when favoured by a try or more.
