Newcastle have played Canberra well of late with four wins in he last five clashes. In the last 10 matchups, the Knights have covered eight of them.
One spot the Knights have tended to be reliable in has been as a home underdog. Newcastle have covered nine of 12 as a home underdog while they have covered five straight as a home underdog off a win.
They have also covered 21 of 38 off a win.
With Canberra covering just four of 16 as a road favourite, the Knights look a very good bet this week.
