Canberra are absolutely airborne this year with a minor premiership on the horizon if they can keep on winning. They face a difficult test this week though against a Newcastle team that has covered three straight.

The Knights attack is still an issue but they look significantly better with Bradman Best in the team. They have rolled Manly and the Dolphins and were stiff not to get the Roosters.

Newcastle have played Canberra well of late with four wins in he last five clashes. In the last 10 matchups, the Knights have covered eight of them.

One spot the Knights have tended to be reliable in has been as a home underdog. Newcastle have covered nine of 12 as a home underdog while they have covered five straight as a home underdog off a win.

They have also covered 21 of 38 off a win.

With Canberra covering just four of 16 as a road favourite, the Knights look a very good bet this week.
