NRL Tips – Dragons v Titans – Round 6 2025

The Dragons let a winning lead slip against the Eels last week while the Titans were never in the contest in their battle with the Dolphins. With both teams coming of a loss we should see fireworks from the opening whistle.

The Dragons dropped to 1-3 for the season but their three defeats have come by a combined total of only 10 points with two losses by a single point. Direction and execution in critical stages has hurt them with Lachlan Ilias guilty on multiple occasions.

This will give the visitors confidence of causing an upset but they will have to do something they have never done before. The Titans have never beaten the Dragons at WIN Stadium (0-6) but have covered the line in 7 of their last 11 as an away underdog and 9 of their previous 14 following a loss.

Under Shane Flanagan the Dragons tend to lean on their defence in this spot with the Under holding on in 10 of their last 13 games on the back of a loss. This is supported by the Titans 3-0 Under record in their last 3 and a 75% Under record in away games played in the last year.

We have already touched on the Dragons undefeated record against the Titans at this ground and it is also worth noting that they have a 69% success rate at the line in matches after a loss in the last 12 months.

The Dragons starting left winger has scored at least one try in their las 6 games at this ground and another player who is set to fire is Clint Gutherson. He scored a double against his former club last week and has crossed for a try in each of his last four games against the Titans.

Kyle Flanagan
To Score A Try

A Dragons half has scored a try in each of the last five matches in this series with Hunt (3), Flanagan (1) and Amone (2) the players responsible. Kyle Flanagan is the only one left on the Dragons roster so we will be going with him. He had a double for the Red V earlier this season and plays on the left side where the Dragons have scored the bulk of their tries (9 of 14).
