Booing rang out across Kogarah last week as an embarassed Dragons were beaten 32-0 at home leaving coach Shane Flanagan shellshocked post-game. The club has put a hold on recruitment. The axe hangs close to the coach’s neck. Players have gone in for some honesty sessions.

Everything lines up for a major bounce back this week and the 8.5 points at home against the Sea Eagles seems utterly ridiculous. If this game was played two weeks back the Dragons would have been favoured by at least four.

The Dragons are 9-5 in the last 14 while they are 10-2 in Wollongong against the Sea Eagles. They have covered six of the last nine.

Home underdogs in the opening eight rounds cover at 62% dating back to 2008 while they are 18-12 ATS off conceding 30 or more. The Dragons are 30-21 ATS off a loss.

Manly have covered just three of 15 as a favourite away from Brookvale.
