This is the perfect game to do what you should always do: play against recency bias.

The Sea Eagles had been embarrassing for a month before running rampant against the Dolphins, putting 58 on the Phins at home in a cathartic match. The Dragons, meanwhile, had been tough all year but off a tough trip to Auckland had nothing in the tank when going down 40-0 to Souths last week.

The Dragons are a great rebound team though while the Sea Eagles are poor on the road so this is lining up as a max bet St George Illawarra.

The Dragons have won nine of the last 13 against the Sea Eagles, covering six of the last eight.

Shane Flanagan’s team bounced back so well with a 22-11 cover record off a double digit loss. They are also 13-8 ATS at Kogarah and 30-17 ATS against bottom nine teams.

Manly have covered just one of eight away from Brookvale and teams off a win when they conceded 30 or more are 8-18 ATS.
