The Dragons are a team battered by injury and without much talent on their roster to begin with but one thing they have rarely done this year is throw the towel in. St George Illawarra have lost just three games by more than eight points all season despite being entrenched in the bottom half of the ladder.
That bodes well for them this Saturday when they play at home in Wollongong as a big underdog against a Canberra team that sits atop the table but has gone through long periods of poor footy in recent weeks.
Five of the last six between these two have been one-score games with the Dragons covering seven of eight.
The Dragons are 15-7 ATS in Wollongong with an 8-4 cover record as an underdog at the ground. They are 13-5 ATS at night, 36-20 ATS off a loss an 7-3 ATS in their last 10 getting a start of a try or more.

Tyrell Sloan is one of the hottest tryscorers in the NRL with 15 in 15 games.
Kyle Flanagan is always over the odds with six tries in 18 performances this season.

Backup hooker Jacob Liddle is an underrated tryscorer who can score again at big odds. Liddle starts from the bench but all eight of his tries this season have come from the pine. He scored a double last week and has scored in two of his last five against the Raiders.
