Best Bet
North Queensland and Gold Coast seem to be heading in two opposite directions but the Titans look the bet getting a big start.
The Cowboys started the season losing their first three games but since put three wins on end before their first bye.
The Titans won two of their opening three games but have dropped their last three by an average of 19 points per game.
Gold Coast won the last meeting between the two teams but North Queensland have dominated in Townsville with 11 wins in the last 12 clashes, all by 12 or more points.
It is hard to cop the Cowboys as big favourites though. They are 5-12 against the spread at home and have covered just three of 11 against teams outside the Top 8. Home teams shorter than $2 off an interstate match cover at just 37%.
This is actually a handy spot for the Titans. They are 8-2 ATS against bottom nine teams and have covered eight of 10 getting at least eight points.
The start here just seems too big.
Same Game Multi
Alofiana Khan-Pereira scores at a try per game and should have few problems crossing against the defensively lax Cowboys.
Jaxon Purdue has five tries in his last five games and is developing into a genuine tryscoring threat.
Value Bet
Beau Fermor is a quality edge backrower who knows how to find the tryline. He has 24 tries in 74 NRL games so is well over the odds. He has two tries in five games against the Cowboys. He is a great bet.
