Typically one of the better rivalries in the NRL, the Cowboys and Broncos should again prove a highly entertaining affair when the two do battle in Townsville.

The days of the Cowboys-Broncos Queensland derbies being the highlight of the NRL calendar are long gone but that does not mean we are not in for an entertaining game on Saturday night with plenty of points forecast in what shapes as a shootout.
These two have a strong recent history of high scoring matches. The last eight have topped 42 points with the over 13-4 in the last 17 clashes.
When the Cowboys play at home, the over is 26-21 with a 14-7 over record at home off a win. North Queensland games go over at 60% when the Cowboys are off scoring 30 or more points.
The over is 25-16 when the Broncos are favoured by more than a converted try.
The 50.5-point total is not enough with the 61-plus points a bet for lair punters.
Same Game Multi
Josiah Karapani has played just eight games in the NRL this season but has already crossed eight times.
Braidon Burns is riding a four-game tryscoring streak.
Jaxon Purdue has 14 tries in 17 games as a starting centre in the NRL.
Value Bet
Jeremiah Nanai is set to take full advantage against some poor Broncos edge defence. Nanai is an elite tryscorer with 46 tries in 83 games. He loves playing the Broncos too with six tries in six meetings. He has scored in his last two matches too so is in very good form.
