Canterbury get a great chance to get off the mark at home against the Gold Coast and it is a chance the hapless Bulldogs look like they will take.
Best Bet
Canterbury have not done a lot with the ball through two weeks but there is no doubt that the effort is there. The players are putting in. The talent is there. Unfortunately the team is getting no help from the coaching staff but a combination of talent, effort and need should get them home against an undermanned Titans team.
Gold Coast were smoked at home in their opener by the Dragons before their bye. They get Kieran Foran back but David Fifita and Jayden Campbell remain out and the team looks incredibly thin.
The Bulldogs are rarely favoured but they do perform in the spot with seven wins in nine games over the lat four seasons.
Gold Coast have failed to cover their last three against the Bulldogs and have covered just 12 of 29 when $2 or shorter in betting.

Alofiana Khan-Pereira is the fastest player in the NRL and has 21 tries in 25 NRL appearances.
Stephen Crichton has double digit tries in all four of his full seasons and has crossed for the Bulldogs.

Jacob Preston has six tries in his 22-game NRL career and the hard-running backrower can break through the flimsy Titans edge defence. He is a big price this week.
