The Bulldogs will look to finish their star-crossed season with a win against a gutted Sea Eagles team in a match that should see the scoreboard operator with plenty to do.
Best Bet
Canterbury go into their final game of the season heavily favoured against Manly, an indication of where both teams are headed. There is hope with the Bulldogs while the Sea Eagles will finish the season in the throes of much turmoil. That turmoil has resulted in four straight games where they have conceded 36-plus in each, losing all by at least 16.
While the Bulldogs should win this and win it well the best bet is to bet the over, which is already heading north in markets.
Manly’s defence has been a debacle. They have conceded 44-plus in their last three. The over hits at 69% when the Sea Eagles play off a loss and 65% when they play at night.
The over is 4-1 when the Bulldogs play at night too.
Three of the last four between these two have topped 52 so happy to be with the over in a game where both teams are dusted and have nothing to play for.
Same Game Multi
Josh Addo-Carr has had another outstanding tryscoring season with 16 tries in his last 17 appearances including five multi-try performances.
Jake Averillo has nine tries in his last 11 games with eight in nine since shifting to fullback.
Value Bet
Matt Burton has scored six tries in his last 14 games and should have a field day against a very poor defensive outfit in Manly. The Sea Eagles have conceded five tries to halves in the last four weeks.
