Best Bet
Canterbury will be hoping to get their season back to its humming best this week with recruit Lachlan Galvin to start at No.7. The Bulldogs have won four straight against the Dragons and have covered 11 of the last 15 but do seem vulnerable laying such a big start.
The Bulldogs have covered just three of 11 at Accor and six of 17 when favoured by more than a converted try. With the Dragons covering 19 of 28 getting a start of eight or more points, there is a lean to the plus.
The better bet though is the under. This is a huge under spot for Canterbury and their attack has gone south since signing Galvin. The under is 9-1 when the Bulldogs are favoured by a try or more at Accor and 8-2 when they are off conceding eight or fewer. The under is 27-13 when the Bulldogs are off a win.
With the under 19-11 when the Dragons are off scoring 24 or more, the under can be bet with confidence.
Same Game Multi
Jethro Rinakama was outstanding on debut when he scored and ran riot in a tremendous showing.
Tyrell Sloan has 12 tries in 13 games this season and is the Dragons’ most dangerous weapon.
Value Bet
Kyle Flanagan is a regular in these pages because he continues to be one of the most underrated players in the NRL. He has scored six tries in 16 games this year and now has 11 in 36 for the Dragons. He is big overs to cross.
