NRL Tips – Brisbane v Dolphins – Round 6 2024

Broncos vs Dolphins | NRL Tips

The third Brisbane derby should be another tight affair with both teams missing key personnel and both teams desperate to assert themselves against their cross-town rival.

Best Bet

Dolphins +8.5
Line

First glance at this one suggested the Broncos could be a nice play but a deeper dive has the Dolphins getting a big start the bet.

The key to this one is Adam Reynolds and his absence. Reece Walsh is obviously the more talented of the two and he returns but Reynolds is critical to unlocking the talent out wide and his absence is typically felt more.

The Dolphins have lost Felise Kaufusi and Herbie Farnworth with Kenny Bromwich and Tesi Niu starting.

Brisbane are a different team at Suncorp and they did win both of these matches last year but it is notable that the Dolphins did cover both.

The Dolphins have covered 10 of 16 at night and 10 of 16 off scoring 20-plus.

With no Adam Reynolds, the line is too big. Phins up!

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow Try/Reece Walsh Try
Same Game Multi

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has a sensational tryscoring record since joining the Dolphins with 20 tries in 25 games. He has scored in two of his four starts against the Broncos.

Reece Walsh has seven tries in his last eight games and returning from injury should have fresh legs.

Value Bet

Tom Flegler
To Score A Try

Tom Flegler meets the Broncos for the first time since departing the club at the end of last season and will be very keen to stand up as the alpha, particularly after overcoming a shoulder injury to play here. He has four tries in his last 14 games and is being used a lot by the Dolphins close to the line.
