The first serious game of the season comes to us from Hamilton with the much-anticipated All-Stars game played in New Zealand for just the second time.

The All-Stars game is one of the highlights of the pre-season and this year is no exception with Hamilton set to host the match, just the second time the game has been hosted in New Zealand.
The Maori All-Stars have had the best of it lately with just two losses in the last six meetings. They got the money last year in a 10-6 victory in Sydney.
Close matches have been the norm too with the last five all decided by six or fewer.
The top play in this match though is the under with the 40.5 looking too big.
Four of the last five All-Stars games have tallied 36 or fewer. The coaching on both teams is also unlikely to be skewed towards sharp attacking play.

Alofiana Khan-Pereira has a fantastic strike rate with 55 tries in 57 games.
Casey McLean scored 16 tries in 23 games in his first full season in the top grade.
Mawene Hiroti is a quality finisher who scored five tries in nine games last season.
Value Bet
Booming prop Trey Mooney was not a renowned tryscorer at NRL level with just two tries in 26 matches. He received limited game time at Canberra but will have gotten a new lease on life at the Knights. He also has a great tryscoring record at NSW Cup level with 24 tries in 67 games. He is a very nice price to score.
