Minnesota got their season back on track with a dominant win over the Bengals and look well placed to make it two straight wins over AFC teams.

While the Steelers did win last week against the Patriots, it’s hard to think of a less impressive performance in winning than doing it by just seven points despite winning the turnover battle 5-1.

Pittsburgh’s run game has been deplorable, averaging just 2.82 yards per carry, the second worst mark in the NFL through three weeks. The only team worse – the Bengals that the Vikings destroyed last week.

Carson Wentz was efficient enough at quarterback in his first start for the Vikings and he gives them as good a chance to win as JJ McCarthy, the second year QB currently out through injury.

The real highlight of the Vikings though is their run game, with Jordan Mason stepping up as RB1 and putting up 130 yards on the ground last week against the Bengals. It’s a worry for the Steelers given they have allowed 117 or more yards on the ground in every game this year.

Favourites have a terrific record in overseas games – they are 32-13-1 head to head and 32-18 against the line. The Vikings can add to that record.
