Thanksgiving Day in the USA means three NFL games to be played on Friday, Australian time. Detroit host Chicago, Dallas host the Giants, and Green Bay host Miami.

Bears @ Lions

Lions -9.5
Line

The Detroit juggernaut is showing no signs of slowing down. Not only do they boast the best record in the NFC, they also have an incredible record against the number, covering in in nine of their eleven games this year.

Chicago come into this off a five game losing streak and while they did show signs of life against the Vikings last week, coming into the toughest venue in the NFL at the moment off the back of an overtime loss is a very big ask.

Back the Lions to keep their run going.

Giants @ Cowboys

Cowboys -3.5
Line

Both of these NFC East rivals are enduring horrific seasons but the Cowboys should at least be able to claim a win here.

They did upset the Commanders on the road last Sunday while the Giants were humiliated by Tampa, 30-7, the Bucs leading by 23-0 at half time.

Tommy DeVito is clearly not an upgrade on Daniel Jones at quarterback, there is clear dissension in the locker room and with just a small line to cover, the Cowboys are the pick.

Dolphins @ Packers

Dolphins +3.5
Line

If there is going to be an upset on Thanksgiving then the Dolphins should be the one to cause it.

Defensively they have been solid all year, ranking in the top twelve for points and yards per drive, while the offence has only struggled in Tua’s absence. Since his return from injury, he is playing some of the best football of his career.

Admittedly the Dolphins have had an easy schedule over the last few weeks, but the Packers were no doubt flattered by their 38-10 margin over the 49ers last week and their offence, while productive, has been inconsistent.

Back the Fins to keep it close.
