The Seahawks look a very worthy bet laying just three and a half points to the Texans.

Yes, the Texans defence has been outstanding this season, having allowed just 61 points across five games, but they have also had a highly favourable run of quarterbacks – shutting out Cooper Rush is a lot different from doing the same to this version of Sam Darnold.

And as good as the Texans have been defensively, there is a reason they are 2-3 on the season – their offence has been terrible. CJ Stroud has not come on since his rookie season, and the receiving corps, aside from Nico Collins, doesn’t scare anyone.

The Seahawks home record has been lamentable under Mike Macdonald, but they have an excellent chance to get it back on track.
