The Houston Texans travel to New England for the second AFC Divisional Round game, with the winner set to travel to Denver – and likely start favourite in the AFC Championship Game.

The Texans defence is the best unit remaining in the NFL playoffs and can propel Houston to s win in this game.

In last week’s Wild Card game against Pittsburgh they destroyed the Steelers, only allowing 175, and forcing two turnovers including one returned for a touchdown.

Excluding the Week 18 game where they rested their starters, they have not allowed more than 21 points since Week 10.

The Texans will need their offence to play better than it did last week, but quarterback CJ Stroud can hardly play any worse, following a game where he fumbled five times, was sacked three and threw a pick.

New England had the softest schedule of any team in the regular season and could only muster 16 points last week against the Chargers.

Getting more than a field goal, the Texans are an excellent bet.
