Best Bet
The Saints have possibly the worst roster in professional football and after losing the first two games of the season things don’t get easier when they head on the road to Seattle.
The strength of the team is the offensive line but they are down two starters heading into this game, with an injury cloud over another, Trevor Penning.
The real problem though, is the quarterback. Spencer Rattler just had the best game of his career, but he is 0-8 as a starter, and a paltry 1-7 against the number, including both games this year.
On the other hand, Sam Darnold bounced back from a disappointing Week 1 performance at home with a solid effort last week in Pittsburgh, passing for 295 yards and two touchdowns.
The strength of the Seahawks though, is the defence. Mike Macdonald’s team has only allowed 17 points in each game, forcing two turnovers in both.
It’s just hard to see how the Saints put up enough put points here to keep this one close.
Same Game Multi
The Seahawks gave up 265 yards to Brock Purdy and 195 to Aaron Rodgers. I suspect they can keep Spencer Rattler under his number with a banged up O-line.
Despite that, the Seahawks have been vulnerable to pass catching running backs – McCaffrey and Warren both posted 70+. Expect Kamara to be the focal point of the passing attack.
Value Bet
Smith-Njigba has topped the 100 yards mark in both games this season. He looks a big price to hit this number once again.
