Baltimore games have been score fests this season and the over should cash here on Monday Night Football.
Best Bet
Baltimore have the score friendly combination of an outstanding offence and awful defence and the result, predictably, has been plenty of points.
With the Ravens 9-2 to the over this season, they are the top team in the league for clearing the total. By contrast the Chargers are a paltry 3-7, but a large part of that can be attributed to the market not fully acclimatising to new head coach Jim Harbaugh who has done a great job of fixing the defence.
Despite that, Baltimore should be able to put up plenty of points here. The only teams that have kept them to 20 or less this season are their old rivals the Chiefs (in Week 1) and the Steelers.
Against most everybody else, the Ravens offence, led by Lamar Jackson but ably assisted by running back Derrick Henry, has been a juggernaut.
Contrast that with Baltimore’s defence, which is ranked in the 20s for yards and points both overall and on a per drive basis. It’s fair to say the Chargers offence under Greg Roman has found a spark of late, posting at least 26 points in the last four games.
Very keen the over here.
Same Game Multi
One area the Chargers defence has been vulnerable is against the run, so expect the Ravens to lean on ‘King’ Henry here. He’s averaging over 100 yards a game this season.
Ladd McConkey has been a breakout star for the Chargers, clearing 60 in three of his last four, going over 100 twice.
Value Bet
Quentin Johnston has quietly emerged as an effective red zone threat for Justin Herbert, with six scores this season including one in each of his last three games.
