The NFC West is well-and-truly up for grabs and this week’s division clash between the Rams and the Seahawks will have a major bearing on it.

The NFC West may well be the best division in football and these two teams may well be the best in the NFC but it is still a touch surprising to see Seattle favoured in this one.

Aside from a mental stumble at Carolina in Week 13, the Rams have swept all before them since Week 6 with convincing wins against five teams who will likely be in the playoff, including a 21-19 win over the Seahawks, a scoreline not reflective of LA’s dominance.

The key to assessing this game is Rams coach Sean McVay. McVay is 17-3 against the spread in his last 20 December games while he is 33-21-1 ATS v the NFC West. Against Seattle, McVay is 12-6 against the number.

The Rams look an outstanding play.
