These teams have been remarkably even in their two games so far this season but Seattle enter the NFC Championship Game with all the momentum.

The Rams have been lucky to get to this stage. They underperformed against the Panthers, who were lucky to even be in the playoffs, before having a poor offensive showing against the Bears, fortunately saved by an errant Caleb Williams throw in overtime.

Seattle on the other hand showed their bye week had only helped them as they destroyed the 49ers 41-6 in a game that was effectively over in the first quarter.

There are a number of strong trends pointing towards Seattle winning this game as well.

Home teams with a rest advantage in a Conference Championship game are 21-7.

Teams off an overtime win in the playoffs (the Rams in this case) are 6-13.

Teams playing in a third consecutive road game in the playoffs are 12-30.

Teams the week after playing the Bears this season are 2-13-1.

Road teams that play in a roofed stadium, playing on the road in an outdoor stadium, are 0-15 in Conference Championship Games.

Blake Corum gets carries when the Rams are winning and want to kill the clock, I highly doubt they will be in that position here.

Kenneth Walker has been in terrific form carrying the ball of late with at least 97 yards in three of his last four.

Sam Darnold hasn’t covered this line in three of his last four and Seattle should be able to rely on their defence and run game to win.
