The likelihood Washington will be without Jayden Daniels is a big blow for the Washington Commanders, who come off a very ordinary showing against Green Bay in which Daniels was kept well in check. Life with Marcus Mariota is hardly set to look much better.

Mariota has been a backup got a long time but when starting a a favourite he is a poor 11-20-2 ATS. Head coach Dan Quinn is equally as bad as a favourite with a 28-39 cover record when the popular elect.

West Coast teams coming east also tend to be undervalued early in the seasons. West-to-East teams in the opening five weeks of the season are 45-14-2 ATS in the opening five weeks of the season.

The Raiders look the value in this one.
