In what is the most anticipated game of the NFL regular season, the Chiefs host the Eagles in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII.

Kansas City have not been their usual force on offence but their defensive improvement should see them once again defeat the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs defence has been an outstanding unit in 2023, ranking first in points allowed and fourth in yards. The most points they have conceded this season is 24, and that was largely due to the offence turning the ball over five times.
Philly will no doubt lean on their run game, but the Chiefs had a good defensive game plan for the threat of Jalen Hurts running the football in last year’s Super Bowl, allowing only 70 yards on 15 carries, 28 of those yards coming on one play.
While Patrick Mahomes has been playing at his usual high level, the supporting cast around him has failed to step up – with the exception of Travis Kelce. But against the Eagles secondary, which has been vulnerable at times this season, they should be able to find the answers.
Super Bowl champions are 5-1 in rematches and Andy Reid is 12-4 coming off a bye. The Chiefs are also 41-20-1 against the number in matches where the line is under three (either way) under Reid.
The Chiefs, laying less than a field goal, are the way to bet this game.

The Chiefs last five games have gone under the total and it’s hard to see this game being a repeat of last year’s high scoring Super Bowl. Remember the field was in atrocious condition which stopped the pass rush for both teams getting home.
The Chiefs ran all over the Eagles in that game and their lead running back Pacheco is having an excellent season.

Grey has taken over as the Chiefs TE2 and is coming off a season high five targets against the Lions. Reid has also deployed him as a ball carrier in goal line situations.
