With both offences struggling the under looks an extremely strong play when the Niners host the Rams on Monday Night Football.

Both sides strength in 2022 is their defence, so expect a low scoring game at Levi’s Stadium on Monday Night Football.
The 49ers offence has struggled in the passing game so far this year, failing to pass for more than 200 yards in all three games, and those struggles continued last week even as Jimmy Garropolo took over as quarterback.
Crucially, the 49ers have lost all-world left tackle Trent Williams and with the rest of the Niners O-line struggling, particuarly in pass protection, this presents a real problem against a Rams defensive front that is capable of getting after the quarterback.
The Niners defence has been suffocating so far this season though, ranked second for yards allowed and third for points allowed, so Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is likely in for a long day.
Stafford has struggled so far in 2022, with four touchdowns and five interceptions through the first three games. Cooper Kupp continues to be the Rams main weapon, but the much vaunted acquisition of Allen Robinson has failed to move the needle thus far.
It’s hard to see either side putting up many points, and with the instruction from coaches to both quarterbacks likely to emphasise protecting the ball, expect a low scoring grind.

Jimmy Garoppolo is unbeaten in six regular season games against the Rams. How much that is actually due to the Eastern Illinois product’s play is up for debate, but at home with a great defence the Niners have to be a small lean.
Value Bet
Ben Skowronek has played upwards of 85% of offensive snaps in every Rams game so far this season. He has been targeted on 13 occasions, and while he has yet to find the end zone, it should happen sooner or later and we’re getting a good price.
