Brian Daboll should be clear favourite to be the first coach sacked but getting 5.5 points in Week 1 seems a touch excessive for a Commanders team trying to prove they are the real deal.

Underdogs under 6.5 in Week 1 cover at 60% while road underdogs in the opening month of the season off not making the playoffs cover at 59%. Divisional road underdogs of 6.5 or less are 21-10-1 against the spread.

And the Giants have played well in Washington with six covers in the last seven trips to the capital.

Washington are all in Jayden Daniels and he looks the real deal but in a tough division matchup the Giants are the play.
