Kyle Pitts was the fourth overall pick in the 2021 Draft and has largely been regarded as a disappointment – but he has simply exploded in the last three weeks.
Since Kirk Cousins came into the lineup as quarterback, Pitts has had games of 82, 90 and 166 receiving yards. The man can clearly play, he just hasn’t had the right quarterback throwing him the ball.
The good news is he takes on an Arizona defence that doesn’t just leak yards generally – although they rank 21st for passing yards again – but especially against tight ends.
The Cards have allowed 893 yards to tight ends this season, including at least 50 in 11 of 15 games. Big games they have allowed include 67 to George Kittle, 93 to Brenton Strange, and 76 to Dalton Schultz just last week.
Back Pitts to continue his great form against a highly vulnerable defence.
