The Miami Dolphins were terribly disappointing last season and the market has written them off completely with the analytics gurus writing them off as they are want to do with stars-and-scrubs like teams. They project not to be as bad as many forecast though with improvement of a significant nature in the trenches on both sides of the ball. The state of the Colts should be more concerning to most with one fact really showing what a mess they are in: Daniel Jones beat out Anthony Richardson for the starting quarterback job.

Jones’ involvement is big for the Dolphins. He is a poor 5-9 against the spread when favoured while the Colts are notoriously slow starters with just six Week 1 covers over the last 22 years.
